Three-Dimensional Art > Garnet Action Figure

This articulated action figure of Garnet from Cartoon Network's "Steven Universe" was created as part of an independent study in toy design. The base sculpt, made from baked Sculpey over a multi-part wire and metal dowel armature, was then molded and cast using traditional methods, cleaned and sanded, then painted by hand. The final figure articulates at the hips, shoulders and elbows, with swappable hands and removable sunglasses. Packaging for the final figure was also designed, printed and assembled.
